Responsibilities
- Remove and replace auto glass using manual cutting tools, power tools, and specialized assembly techniques.
- Conduct auto glass repairs for minor chips and cracks to restore vehicle safety and integrity.
- Handle glass materials carefully, ensuring proper storage, transportation, and installation procedures.
- Utilize automotive glass knowledge to fit new glass accurately, ensuring proper sealing and alignment.
- Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, equipment, and vehicles needing service or repair.
- Assist with auto body repair tasks such as minor dent removal or paint touch-ups when necessary.
- Follow safety protocols related to power tool operation, heavy lifting, and glass handling to prevent injuries.
- Support vehicle maintenance activities including window tinting, detailing, and general upkeep as needed.
- Collaborate with customers to explain services performed and ensure their satisfaction with the results.
- Maintain a clean work environment and organize tools such as hand tools and power tools for efficiency.
Qualifications
- Prior dealership experience or background in automotive service is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in auto glass installation or repair.
- Familiarity with ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) calibration is a plus.
- Ability to perform manual glass cutting accurately and efficiently.
- Experience handling automotive glass materials safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of auto estimating software or processes is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards clients.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly.
- Basic understanding of auto body repair techniques including fitting glass installation.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for operating company vehicles responsibly.

Pay: $24.14 - $29.07 per hour
