FENG CHA is looking for awesome Baristas to join our fun, fast-casual cafe. Barista Responsibilities
- Provide quality customer service by taking and handling orders using POS system
- Prepare tea and coffee beverages, smoothies, and desserts using our provided recipes
- Ensure the teahouse, all food prep areas, and all food storage areas meet restaurant cleaning standards
- Help with dishwashing (this task is shared among all staff) and teahouse cleaning
Barista Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and organization skills
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Ability to work on your feet for six hours or more a day & high level of professionalism
Qualifications
- Barista experience
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in POS systems
- Ability to handle cash transactions
- Knowledge of food safety protocols
- Experience in food preparation and serving
- Basic math skills
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures
- Previous experience in a customer service role
