Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair
- Develop and refine beverage recipes to enhance our menu offerings and meet customer preferences
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations based on their tastes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to accurately process transactions, including cash handling and credit card payments
- Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and bar supplies; assist with stock ordering and storage management
- Collaborate with the bar management team to ensure smooth operations during busy hours and special events like banquets or catering functions
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mixologist or bartender in a fast-paced environment; fine dining or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, beverage presentation techniques, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and brewing processes
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining quality standards
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math for inventory management, and food safety knowledge for proper food handling practices
- Experience working in food service establishments like restaurants or catering environments; banquet experience is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
