Hello! To ensure that our company is a good fit, I'd love to share a bit about us. Align is a small ABA practice that was opened in 2023 by a neurodivergent, queer woman. Inclusion is our top priority for staff and clients alike. Creating a workplace culture that feels safe and accommodating is extremely important to us. Our style of ABA is a bit different than most, as we focus only on naturalistic teaching methods and integrate ACT principles with clients and RBTs. We provide services in-home, in schools, in daycares, and in the community. One of our favorite places to offer therapy sessions is at a local farm that we partner with from the months of March-November. We offer 1:1 sessions here, and over the summer, we hold weekly group sessions. The clients have the freedom to explore nature, care for the animals, assist in the garden (and take home what they harvest!), and build motor skills and confidence through risky play in the sensory barn. We prioritize our clients' autonomy, and all sessions are play based and client led. If this feels like a good fit, we would love to chat with you!
We are seeking a compassionate and intentional Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will feel that the traditional style of ABA is too rigid, and desire to make a change in the field. We value connection over compliance, and do not utilize outdated practices that focus on conforming to societal standards.
We are looking for a BCBA who is open to flexible hours and desires the autonomy to create their own schedule. We wouldn't expect the BCBA to work more than 30 hours per week, and welcome anyone who wants even fewer hours. We are open to a full time or part time position, with a minimum of 15 hours per week. We value work life balance, and paying our therapists a livable wage so they do not need to work 40 hours to survive.
This is a hybrid position, requiring some supervision to be conducted within the client's home or school. There is an option for occasional virtual supervision when needed. Additionally, admin hours (updating treatment plans, 1:1 meetings with RBTs, data reviews, etc) may be completed virtually.
While we pay hourly, if this was calculated into a yearly salary, 30 hours per week would be about $92,000, not including PTO/Sick pay. If you are in need of a salary position, we would be open to a discussion about this with the right candidate.
