Sleep Studies Technician - FT Nights
Essential Responsibilities:

- Performs and records routine patient assessments.
- Prepares equipment and monitors patient before, during, and after study according to protocol.
- Assists sleep technologist in scoring sleep records and documenting test results.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation as per Health System/affiliate policy.
- Perform acts that are within the scope of practice as defined by the applicable certification board.
- Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients as described in unit/department-based competencies, policies, and procedures.
- Evaluate and provide care as directed to achieve desired patient outcomes for patients newborn thru geriatric.
- Act in accordance with the established mission, vision, and values.
- Abide by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability privacy and security regulations regarding all aspects of Protected Health Information (PHI).
- Maintain effective communication and professional working relationships with patients/clients and their representatives, team members, contractors, physicians, peers, outside agencies, and the public.

Minimum Qualifications :
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Required License/Certifications/Registrations
Current BLS/CPR card from approved provider within 30 days of hire or by the end of orientation, whichever comes first.
Successful completion of ASTEP certification within two years of hire.
