What You'll Do
As a Nurse Practitioner, you'll play an important role in caring for patients with a wide variety of men's and women's urologic conditions in a busy outpatient specialty practice.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluate new and established patients
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and follow-up visits
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician
- Review laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic studies
- Educate patients on diagnoses, medications, treatment options, and preventive care
- Manage a broad range of men's and women's urologic conditions
- Document patient encounters accurately within the EMR
- Collaborate closely with the physician and clinical team to deliver exceptional patient care
Perform and Assist with Office-Based Procedures Including:
- Cystoscopy
- Shockwave Therapy for Erectile Dysfunction
- Prostate Biopsies
- Catheter insertions and exchanges
- Trimix patient education and injection training
- Additional office procedures as training and experience progress
As your confidence and experience grow, you'll have the opportunity to perform more procedures independently while always having physician support available.
Qualifications
- Active California Nurse Practitioner license
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (AGNP, FNP, or related specialty)
- DEA License preferred
- Urology experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient setting
- EMR experience preferred
- Passion for providing outstanding patient care
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a specialty practice

Pay: $98,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
