Job Summary:
Primary job responsibilities are to use engineering expertise and experience to: (i)investigate, design, develop or contract, and test concepts for improving the performance metrics of the company for existing and future product manufacturing areas; (ii) research new manufacturing processes, develop specification for new capital equipment, install, debug and run-off new or improved processes, and train others in the operation and maintenance of these processes; and (iii) develop procedures and OPL’s, supporting the transition of the new processes/machines as they are transitioned to production.
