This is more than a traditional medical assisting role. What You'll Do
- Welcome and room patients while creating a warm, positive experience
- Obtain vital signs, medical histories, and prepare patients for their appointments
- Assist providers with in-office procedures and treatments
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen processing
- Administer injections and assist with IV therapies
- Educate patients on treatment plans, supplements, and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
- Assist with inventory management, stocking clinical supplies, and keeping treatment rooms organized
- Work closely with our team to ensure each patient receives exceptional care from start to finish
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Is a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (preferred, but not required depending on experience)
- Has experience in a medical office (functional medicine, family practice, internal medicine, or specialty practice is a plus)
- Has strong phlebotomy skills or is eager to learn
- Is organized, dependable, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Enjoys educating and connecting with patients
- Has a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed
- Values teamwork and takes pride in providing outstanding patient care
