The Order Fulfillment Associate with The Restaurant Store is responsible for assisting the Order Fulfillment Manager with various aspects of customer order process for a retail branch location. The Order Fulfillment Specialist will achieve a variety of operational goals through effective order entry, management and fulfillment strategies that align with the goals of our sales, purchasing, and inventory teams.

Provide friendly, efficient service at the express pick-up area by completing accurate register transactions, verifying memberships, loading customer orders, and expediting checkout to minimize wait times

Drive completion of open customer orders as directed by Order Fulfillment Manager and/or Specialist

Support the growth and customer utilization of online ordering and all order fulfillment options within market reach of the branch location

Communicate effectively with the Inventory and Sales Departments to maintain a consistent focus on what is best for our customers

Perform additional tasks and support initiatives as assigned by management to ensure smooth location operations and alignment with overall business goals

Maintain cleanliness and organization of registers, customer orders, and the express pick up area of the location

Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.

Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.

Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.

Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.

Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail and/or supply chain management

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Proficiency with MS Office required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and experience with CRM systems and project management tools
