Join Amhof Trucking, a leading asset-based carrier in eastern Iowa! We are seeking a motivated Freight Broker to handle overflow freight and expand our growing brokerage department.
Key Responsibilities:

Prospect, develop, and maintain a consistent book of direct shipper customers.

Secure spot and contractual freight opportunities exceeding company asset capacity.

Negotiate competitive rates with shippers and third-party carriers to maximize margins.

Quote rates quickly using TMS, DAT, and Truckstop.

Track shipments, dispatch carriers, and provide proactive updates to customers.
Qualifications:
-
1+ years of Transportation or Logistics experience (Preferred).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; McLeod TMSSamsara experience is a plus.

Strong negotiation, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
