Administrative Assistant
Small downtown law office.
We have a part-time opportunity for someone interested in an in-person job that includes the following duties: A/R, A/P, bookkeeping, paralegal duties, and administrative duties.
The paralegal duties include:
- Opening files; communication with clients, opposing parties, and the courts;
- Drafting pleadings; coordinating court schedules; and discovery activities.
- The right candidate must be a quick learner, comfortable working with, Word, Outlook, PDF files and WordPerfect (preferred) and must pay attention to detail.
- Administrative duties consist of all non-attorney functions in the office.
- Ideal candidate needs to be independent and self-directed as this is a three attorney law office.
- A two year college degree is preferred - but experience is as important.
Salary: $20.00
Part-time: 25-30 hours a week
