About the Role
American Bath Group's Web Operations team manages a growing portfolio of websites — from full e-commerce stores like Vintage Tub & Bath, MAIDSTONE | DXV, and American Standard Bathing, to brand and corporate sites like Dreamline.com and AmericanBathGroup.com. Every site is different: different platforms, different audiences, different needs. What they have in common is us — a small, hands-on team that keeps them all running, improving, and moving forward.
We're looking for a Web Operations Coordinator to join that team. This is an entry-level-to-junior role built for someone early in their career who's eager to learn by doing. The day-to-day is varied: one hour you might be updating product content on a store, the next QA-ing a page before it goes live, the next helping track down why an image isn't loading. You won't be an expert in any of it on day one — and that's the point. We'll train you, and we're looking for someone who runs toward new things rather than away from them.
The best fit for this role isn't a specific résumé. It's a mindset: curious, positive, organized, and confident enough to jump in where you can while honest about what you don't know yet.
What You'll Do
- Work a varied request queue across our site portfolio: content updates, page edits, product changes, image swaps, and small fixes — juggling multiple sites and tasks in a typical week.
- QA changes before and after they go live: check pages on desktop and mobile, click the links, test the forms, and document what you find clearly.
- Jump in where you're confident, learn where you're not: as you ramp, you'll take on more independent work across whichever sites and tools you pick up fastest.
- Write clear, complete tickets: turn stakeholder requests and bug reports into well-documented tasks with the details someone else needs to act on them — a core skill we'll coach you on.
- Communicate with our third-party development teams: when work goes beyond what we handle in-house, you'll help brief our external dev partners, answer their questions, track progress, and verify the work when it comes back.
- Help keep product and site data clean: assist with data updates, spot-check that information is flowing correctly between systems, and flag anything that looks off.
- Support internal requests: help build one-off marketing and landing pages and keep incoming requests organized and moving.
- Run routine site health checks: broken links, missing images, page errors — catch small problems before they become big ones, and escalate with good notes.
- Grow with the team: sit in on projects across e-commerce, design, analytics, and development, and take on more of whatever you gravitate toward.
What You'll Bring
Required:
- A genuine willingness to learn — you ask questions, try things, and don't need to be handed a manual for every new tool.
- Comfort juggling multiple projects and tasks at once without letting things slip; you keep your own work organized and follow through to done.
- Strong attention to detail — you're the person who notices the typo, the broken link, the image that's slightly off.
- Clear written communication: you can describe a problem or request completely enough that someone else can act on it — including people outside the company, like our external development partners.
- A positive, growth-oriented attitude: you take feedback well, stay constructive when things get messy, and treat "I don't know how yet" as a starting point, not a wall.
Nice to have (not required — these are things you'll learn here):
- Any hands-on experience with a website platform — Shopify, WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, even a personal project or school work.
- Basic HTML/CSS familiarity, or any exposure to Google Analytics or spreadsheet/data work.
- Retail, customer service, or e-commerce experience of any kind.
- Curiosity about AI tools — our team actively uses AI-assisted workflows, and you'll be trained and encouraged to use them too.
What You'll Learn
This role is built to grow. Working across a multi-platform portfolio — e-commerce stores, brand sites, and a modern web stack — you'll build a genuinely broad skill set: site administration across multiple platforms, product data management, QA and ticket writing, analytics basics, vendor coordination, and AI-assisted ways of working. Within a year, you'll have hands-on experience most early-career web professionals never get exposure to.
