Therefore, we are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Legal Assistant to join us!
No prior legal experience is required, but it is preferred that the candidate have office experience.
The applicant must have several years of in-person customer service experience in a service industry. The ideal candidate is currently employed in a non-remote position that involves constant face-to-face interaction with the general public.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly under one of the firm's Paralegals
- Request records and bills from medical providers
- Calendar deadlines
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, faxing, and scanning documents
- Communicate with clients and other parties involved in legal matters
- Facilitate the meeting of deadlines by keeping files organized
- Assist with screening potential new clients
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Empathetic and compassionate demeanor when interacting with clients
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and ability to type at least 45wpm
