Job Overview
Rise & Run Construction is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and finishing interior and exterior trim elements, including baseboards, crown molding, door casings, window trim, and other decorative woodwork. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life with precision and craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on custom new-build residential homes.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install trim components using hand tools and power tools with accuracy and attention to detail
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation of trim elements
- Prepare surfaces by sanding or applying other finishing techniques to achieve smooth and professional results
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to coordinate schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to power tool safety protocols and industry safety standards
- Assist with other carpentry tasks such as door hanging, fixture installation, or minor framing when required
Skills
- Extensive experience in trim carpentry, including baseboards, crown molding, door casings, and window trims
- Ability to read blueprints, construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools (saws, chisels, hammers) and power tools (drills, nail guns, sanders) while following safety guidelines
- Experience with related trades such as drywall finishing, plastering, stucco application, or masonry is a plus
