Position Summary
The Store Manager supports the overall success of the café by helping lead daily operations, team development, and guest experience. This role works closely with upper management to ensure smooth operations, strong financial performance, and a positive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, including shift management, staff scheduling, and ensuring compliance with food safety and health standards
- Supervise, train, and develop team members on food preparation, customer service, POS systems, and proper food handling procedures
- Lead by example on the floor to ensure a high-quality guest experience and strong team performance
- Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste to control food costs
- Support labor management by helping build schedules and maintaining efficiency during all shifts
- Ensure accurate cash handling, drawer reconciliation, and accountability for all financial transactions
- Oversee food production, presentation, and adherence to safety and brand standards in a fast-paced environment
- Support hiring and onboarding efforts, including interviewing candidates and training new team members
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, and training team members
- Help create and manage schedules
- Support ongoing coaching and performance development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and energetic environment across front and back of house
Customer Experience
- Deliver an exceptional, consistent guest experience every day
- Lead by example on the floor during peak periods
- Handle guest feedback and resolve issues with professionalism and urgency
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 1–2 years of restaurant leadership experience
- Basic understanding of key performance metrics such as labor and food cost
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Outgoing, energetic, and comfortable engaging with guests
- Passionate about food, people, and delivering great experiences
- Highly motivated, reliable, and growth-oriented
- Strong communication and organizational skills

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
