The Water Well Servicing Operator is responsible for performing tasks associated with service and pump installation, as well as the operations of a well servicing rig.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Pump Installer responsible for driving and operating a service/pump rig.
- Service and install submersible electric pumps.
- Responsible for pump repair, installation, and troubleshooting.
- Job preparation, assembling parts, supplies and materials.
- Maintain accurate records of time and material.
- Training helpers and maintaining a safe work environment
Qualifications and Skills
- MUST HAVE 1-3 years previous water well pump installer repair experience.
- Knowledge of pumps, motors, wells, electricity, and piping
- Must be able to lift and move 100 pounds.
- Requires working with equipment that vibrates and to work near moving mechanical parts.
- Must be extremely safety conscious, understand hazards and dangers associated with the job.
- Ability to stand and walk for major portion of shift.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
