We are currently seeking a Porter/Housekeeper in our Skilled Nursing facility at King David Post Acute Nursing & Rehabilitation. You will assist the Housekeeping team with supplies, linens, and removal of trash and other housekeeping duties. Responsible for achieving the required standards of cleanliness, product presentation and customer care in all guest rooms and public areas in order to create a warm, friendly, comfortable and luxury environment for our guests.
Assist Room Attendants with housekeeping and cleaning services in assigned guest rooms and public areas.
Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, banquet areas, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other work areas so that housekeeping standards are met.
Remain, at all times, attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees.
Ensure that the appropriate level of security for all guest belongings is achieved, aiding in creating a feeling of comfort and confidence for guests.
Collect soiled linen for laundering.
Assemble, sort and deliver clean linen and supplies, and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry.
Remove trash collected by room attendants, transport trash and waste to disposal areas.
Carry linens, towels, toiletry items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts.
Assist with the cleaning and sanitizing of shared facilities and common spaces.
Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
Vacuum and cleans floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes.
Cleanan rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners and shampooers.
Perform other related duties as required.
