American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with labor and delivery experience for a 13-week travel contract in an LDRP unit in Anchorage, AK.
-
LDRP unit in a hospital setting with 7 beds
-
Patient ratios are variable and based on acuity
-
Unit is staffed with 2 RNs and 1 surgical tech
-
Procedures performed include vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&E, D&C, tubal ligation, vaginal repair, and hysterectomy
-
GE equipment used on unit
-
EMR system is Epic
-
Day shift hours: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
-
Floating may occur as needed when census is low
-
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Surgical Technologist
-
Experience in a labor and delivery setting required
-
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required; state license required if applicable
-
BLS certification from the AHA or ARC required
-
NRP (Advanced 9th Edition) certification required
-
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
-
US SSN and date of birth required for consideration

One professional reference required

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered

Scrubs are provided by the facility

Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
