Join a dynamic legal team as our Law Office Front Desk Receptionist/Legal Assistant, where your energy and organizational skills will be an asset of our busy office. Duties~
- Schedule appointments, coordinate calendars, and assist with case-related reminders using office management tools.
- Handle clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, proofreading documents, and maintaining organized records.
- Support administrative functions, including basic bookkeeping tasks.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming at all times.
- Utilize computer skills across Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Case Management software effectively.
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and courteously while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist with general office management duties such as calendar management, filing systems, and document proofreading to ensure accuracy.
- Support attorney and paralegals with personal assistant responsibilities when needed, including time management and scheduling.
Qualifications~
- Prior office experience or clerical experience in a professional environment is required.
- At least a year or more of previous law firm experience is preferred.
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), as well as copier, fax, postage machine, and data entry skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette.
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and office management software is advantageous.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining accuracy in proofreading and data entry tasks is paramount.
- Demonstrated time management skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
