We are looking for a variety of shifts. You must be able to work at least 24 hours/week overall. We can support this as a full-time position, we have lots of demand we are trying to meet.
Possible schedules that we are looking for to fill in Carmel Valley:
Monday - 3pm - 9pm, Tuesday OFF, Wednesday 9am - 3pm, Thursday 9am - 3pm, Friday 3pm - 9pm, Saturday 1pm - 8pm. Sunday OFF. Total Hours For This Shift: 31 hours.
Compensation: Base Compensation, plus Bonus + Commission and Dental/Vision Base pay for sessions, then extras for requests, services, and retail, plus your tips.
Our therapists will typically earn $55 - $75 per service hour (including average tips and some extra services+) based on their experience and efforts and your ability to do more add-on services. Some of our experienced therapist have recently received $100 tips from our guests.
Key Considerations:
- Typical schedule is 24 – 32 hours per week. We will require that you work the Sunday shift from 10am - 6pm. We are somewhat flexible for the other days, but we think it will be more of a 3pm - 9pm shift during the weekdays. If you apply, then we will want to confirm your availability before moving forward with your application.
- May have active CAMTC license, but 500 hours of training is acceptable
- Must have an active professional liability insurance, or we will add for you as needed.
- Design your own breaks. We want you to work to your capability
- Earn extra dollars by performing additional services for each guest
- Work at one or more of our locations as you prefer. Find the best one for you.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide excellent Guest service. Able to perform in 50, 80, and 110 minute sessions.
- Comfortable with both Swedish, Deep Tissue. Willing to do pre-natal and sports massage as needed, customized with Massage Heights training.
- Educate Guests on services, products and programs available to meet their needs.
- Link therapeutic products to your service to enhance the Guest’s experience at home.
- Participate in many corporate off-site chair or race events in the Irvine area.
- Create and maintain positive relationships with Guests and Team Members.
- Build that relationship with our guests and be requested often.
- Be open and willing to work a variety of shifts and hours. (A mix of weekday and weekend)
Qualifications and Skills
- Comply with local and state licensing laws and regulations.
- Carry personal liability insurance, plus Hot Stone endorsement is mandatory
- Cupping training is also required, as needed
- Be Guest service oriented and communicate effectively with Guests.
- Capable of at least deep tissue, Swedish and maternity massage modalities
- Be a team player, work an established work schedule, reliable and prompt
- Believe in regular massage therapy as part of a healthy lifestyle
