Job Summary:
Join our team at FLACRA as a COTI Clinician, where you'll play a vital role in providing clinical services to clients in line with our mission, vision, and values. This position is key to ensuring the delivery of high-quality, client-centered care within our innovative behavioral health programs.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct direct diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' primary and secondary diagnoses and determine appropriate treatment modalities.

Provide therapeutic services, including individual, family, conjoint, and group therapy, tailored to the needs of identified clients.

Manage client intakes and caseloads independently, utilizing self-initiated consultation when needed for diagnostic and treatment challenges.

Participate actively in staff meetings, in-service training, and supervision sessions to ensure continuous professional development.

Maintain strong relationships with community partners, referral sources, and service agencies to support client care and outreach.

Deliver community presentations and participate in training programs as needed.

Counsel clients to develop interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Respond effectively to crisis situations to ensure client safety and well-being.

Ensure timely, accurate documentation in compliance with agency and OASAS standards.

Foster a collaborative, flexible team environment, working closely with coworkers and supervisors.

Support outreach efforts by coordinating client needs via the outreach board.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Health or Human Services
-
Qualified Health Professional (CASAC, CASAC-T, or CASAC-P)

3 years of administrative experience in a behavioral health setting

Valid NYS Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree or higher in Health or Human Services

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, staff, and community partners

Knowledge of local behavioral health systems and resources

Excellent multi-tasking, problem-solving, and time management abilities

Ability to remain calm under pressure, especially in crisis situations

Familiarity with electronic records (E-record)

Experience in providing crisis intervention and mobile services

Comfort in delivering community-based and crisis services
