We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate General Dentist to join our growing multi-site practice.
Position Summary:
As an Associate General Dentist, you will provide comprehensive clinical care using modern, evidence-based treatment methods. This role requires a patient-centered philosophy and a desire to collaborate with a full suite of dental professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Excellence: Diagnose dental conditions and develop comprehensive, personalized treatment plans for a diverse patient base.
- Procedures: Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures, including restorative (fillings/crowns), oral surgery (extractions), endodontics (root canals), and preventive services.
- Patient Advocacy: Educate patients on oral health, treatment options, and long-term preventive care strategies.
- Compliance: Maintain meticulous patient records in strict accordance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Work effectively with our team of dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative staff to ensure a seamless patient flow.
- Continuing Education: Stay at the forefront of the industry by participating in ongoing training and professional development.
Qualifications
- Education: Doctoral degree (DDS or DMD) from an accredited dental school.
- Licensure: Active state dental license in both Virginia and Maryland in good standing.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build immediate rapport with patients and staff.
- Clinical Integrity: A deep commitment to providing high-quality, ethical patient care.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience is preferred, though highly motivated recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
