We are an independent, long standing clinic in the heart of Chesapeake, Va. As a Physical Therapy Tech, you will play a vital role in assisting our therapy patients and provide exceptional care. We are looking for a long term team member.
```Responsibilities```
- Assist physical therapists with home exercise programs and update records as needed.
- Prepare and disinfect treatment areas along with equipment for therapy sessions
- Escort patients to and from treatment areas
- Provide support and encouragement to patients during exercises.
- Maintain cleanliness, launder all clinical bedding and towels.
- Assist front desk as needed, including answering phones, taking copays, and scheduling.
Requirements:
- Excellent patient service skills with a caring and compassionate demeanor
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
