Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Manager to lead our precast concrete manufacturing operations with energy and precision. In this vital role, you will oversee daily plant production, coordinate manufacturing schedules, ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise all aspects of precast concrete production, ensuring products are manufactured according to engineering drawings, specifications, and delivery schedules.
- Oversee daily production activities including concrete placement, form preparation, reinforcement installation, finishing, stripping, curing, and yard operations.
- Implement and uphold OSHA safety standards and company policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Monitor manufacturing operations to ensure compliance with quality control procedures, production specifications, and company standards.
- Lead, motivate, and develop production teams, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality Control, Maintenance, and Shipping departments to ensure efficient workflow and on-time deliveries.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, ensuring production equipment, cranes, forklifts, mixers, and casting equipment are properly maintained to minimize downtime.
- Manage inventory levels of concrete materials, reinforcing steel, embedded items, forms, and production supplies to support uninterrupted manufacturing.
- Enforce safe work practices related to heavy equipment, overhead cranes, lifting operations, and physical labor.
- Monitor production efficiency and recommend process improvements to increase productivity while maintaining product quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience in precast concrete manufacturing, concrete products manufacturing, construction materials manufacturing, or a similar heavy industrial production environment.
- Strong knowledge of precast concrete production processes, quality standards, and manufacturing operations.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards, PPE requirements, and safe material handling practices.
- Experience leading production teams while maintaining high safety, quality, and productivity standards.
- Ability to read and interpret production schedules, shop drawings, and engineering plans.
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong focus on process optimization and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment is a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
