Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Finish Carpenter / Installer to join our team.
This is not a general labor or framing position. We're looking for someone with hands-on experience installing interior and exterior doors, finish trim, millwork, hardware, and windows while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Install interior and exterior doors
- Install finish hardware
- Install baseboard, casing, and finish trim
- Install windows
- Install millwork and specialty trim
- Read plans and work from drawings when needed
- Ensure installations meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized jobsite
- Communicate professionally with builders, homeowners, and team members
- Safely use hand tools and power tools
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience in finish carpentry
- Experience hanging and installing doors
- Experience installing baseboard, casing, and trim
- Experience installing windows
- Experience installing finish hardware
- Ability to read construction plans
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Preferred:
- Commercial construction experience
- Experience with multifamily projects
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Install/Finish Carpentry: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
