Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Weekend Assistant Manager / Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team! Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, providing exceptional customer service and assistance throughout their shopping experience
- Operate the cash register (POS system), handle retail sales transactions accurately, and manage cash drawer handling with integrity
- Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities
- Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and maintaining organized product presentation
- Supervise store activities during weekend shifts, including supervising staff and ensuring smooth operations
- Maintain phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors via phone or email
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, assisting with stock replenishment, and conducting periodic stock checks
Skills
- Proven experience with POS systems, cashiering, and retail sales transactions
- Demonstrated supervising experience in a retail environment or team setting
- Strong communication skills, bilingual ability is a plus for serving diverse customers effectively
- Ability to perform retail math calculations accurately for pricing, discounts, and inventory counts
- Knowledge of retail store product details, merchandising techniques, and basic math skills for daily operations
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
- Ability to handle cash handling duties responsibly while maintaining accuracy and security
