Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to meet high standards of hygiene and presentation
- Conduct detailed floor care, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to maintain a polished appearance
- Assist with hotel housekeeping operations, ensuring rooms are prepared promptly for new guests
- Support janitorial tasks such as waste removal, restocking supplies, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness in industrial cleaning environments when required, adhering to safety protocols
- Uphold hospitality standards by providing friendly assistance to guests and visitors
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines consistently to ensure a safe environment for all
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred, especially within hospitality or hotel settings
- Experience with floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, and carpet extraction is highly desirable
- Background in industrial cleaning or large-scale facility maintenance is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to manage housekeeping tasks efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward guest service and team collaboration
- Must be available on weekends
