Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, and craft beers, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Use POS systems Toast
- Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing ones to keep our drink menu exciting and innovative.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, answer questions about drinks, and recommend options based on preferences.
- Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and reporting shortages promptly.
- Support food service operations when needed, including serving snacks or light meals in a fast-paced environment.
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy while processing payments swiftly using POS systems like Aloha or Micros.
- Assist in bar management tasks such as scheduling shifts or training new team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Skills
- Proven experience as a bartender with knowledge of mixology techniques and beverage recipe development.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, craft beer options, and food pairing principles.
- Experience working in fine dining establishments or hospitality settings is highly desirable.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy bar hours while maintaining quality service.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple responsibilities.
