Duties and Responsibilities
The Youth Mobilizer position is a full-time position that will begin on or around August 15, 2026. This position is grant-funded for 3 years with anticipated continued funding.
The Youth Mobilizer would be responsible for the following activities:
- Plan and lead two summer youth programs: Leaders-In-Training and Summer Leaming Program.
- Coordinate implementation of Grey Matter/Blues Program, a school-based group prevention program.
- Lead the Youth Advisory Council as part of SCRC’s coalition and in collaboration with the SCRC Coordinator.
- Supervise staff, interns, and volunteers for youth programs.
- Assist in the dissemination of SCRC’s information to key leaders, schools and other youth service providers and the public.
- Represent SCRC and the coalition to the larger community, serving as the primary community contact for youth activities.
- Provide needed documentation for grant proposals, reports, concept papers and other materials needed to obtain continued/increased SCRC and youth funding.
- Help support Hound Packs weekend feeding program.
