Overview
We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and highly organized Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our growing residential portfolio across North Los Angeles County/Eastern San Gabriel Valley, made up of single-family and multifamily residential properties. Working primarily from our Glendora office, you will manage the full lifecycle of your properties, from leasing and rent collection to maintenance coordination and tenant relations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and delivering exceptional service to owners and residents alike.
In this role, you will build strong relationships with property owners, residents, and vendors, and your attention to detail and follow-through will directly drive occupancy, revenue growth, and owner satisfaction. Qualified applicants should have 2–3+ years of property management experience, working knowledge of California landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations, and hands-on experience with property management software (AppFolio strongly preferred).
- Oversee rent collection, data entry, reporting, and record keeping through AppFolio, our core property management platform
- Oversee all aspects of property leasing, including marketing available units, negotiating new lease agreements, and securing renewals
- Track property maintenance and strengthen vendor relationships, leveraging AI and technology to streamline work orders and keep properties safe, clean, and compliant
- Handle tenant relations with professionalism and care, addressing concerns promptly, resolving conflicts effectively, and maintaining a high standard of customer service in every interaction
- Ensure compliance with California landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations across all properties and communications
- Perform legal and administrative tasks related to lease agreements, notices, and dispute resolution with a focus on conflict management
- Maintain accurate, confidential filing systems for contracts, legal documents, and compliance records to ensure audit readiness
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners in your portfolio, providing clear, proactive communication and regular reporting
Experience
- 2–3+ years of experience in property management or a real estate operations role, with a strong understanding of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations
- Demonstrated proficiency with property management software, with a strong preference for AppFolio
- Excellent conflict management skills coupled with the ability to maintain positive, professional relationships with residents, owners, and vendors
- Exceptional customer service skills complemented by professional phone etiquette and polished written communication
- Strong administrative foundation, including data entry, filing systems, and general office support
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Section 8 housing vouchers, LIHTC programs, or related housing policies is a plus
- California real estate license is a plus, with additional income opportunities available for licensed agents

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
