Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repairs, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of mechanical repairs and maintenance on various vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues and determine appropriate repair solutions
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Repair and replace faulty components, including brakes, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
- Utilize power tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs efficiently
- Keep accurate records of all services performed and parts used
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and explaining repair recommendations
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and industry trends
Skills:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting purposes
- Ability to perform repairs on diesel engines is a plus
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and their components
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and address their needs
- Ability to estimate repair costs accurately
