<Responsibilities>
- Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting legal documents, contracts, and correspondence with precision and clarity
- Conduct in-depth legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, iManage, and other legal research tools to support case strategies
- Manage and organize legal files using document management systems such as PCLaw and other case management software
- Review and proofread legal documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Support project management efforts by coordinating deadlines, scheduling meetings, and tracking case progress across multiple practice areas.
- Perform data entry and maintain meticulous records of client information, court filings, and case updates
- Provide administrative support including phone etiquette, filing, transcription, and maintaining organized electronic and physical files
<Qualifications>
- Paralegal experience or equivalent legal administrative experience in a law office setting
- Strong knowledge of various practice areas such as estate planning and family law procedures
- Proficiency with legal tools including Clio
- Experience with document review and legal drafting with excellent proofreading skills
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Effective communication skills with professional phone etiquette and client interaction capabilities
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong writing skills for preparing reports, summaries, and legal correspondence
