We are a family owned business located on the Emeryville/Berkeley border. We have been in business since 1929. We are in the business of designing, manufacturing and selling large industrial machinery which services the corrugated (paper) industry.
We are looking to fill the position(s) in our Electrical/Controls/Mechatronics group.
We have positions for entry level engineers that are interested in mechatronics, electrical control systems for machine automation, electrical panel design, and technical support.
The position can be filled by an entry level candidate or one with a few years of experience if you have the right skill set for the job. We don't mind training those that are quick learners and motivated. We are looking for people who like work activities that include practical, hands-on problems and solutions. We are looking for versatile engineers/technicians that don’t mind getting their hands dirty. The position will require some travel.
Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
Job Responsibilities:
- Creating production electrical schematics, bills of materials, and configuring machine software.
- Engineering upgrade kits for existing machinery.
- Provide technical support to our customers on new and existing machines.
- Assist or lead on installations of new machinery or upgrade kits at customer sites.
- Machine documentation including manuals, online help and troubleshooting guides.
- Travel to customer site to do an installation of upgrade kits.
