We are seeking a dedicated Retail Merchandising Support Associate to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing planograms to optimize product placement and store layout.
- Support remodeling and interior design projects to improve store aesthetics and functionality.
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising displays to ensure consistent product availability.
- Utilize Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for creating visual displays, signage, and branding materials.
- Supervise team members in merchandising tasks, providing training and development to enhance performance.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting, ladder use, and cleaning to maintain a safe and organized environment.
- Coordinate pricing strategies, sales promotions, and POS (Point of Sale) operations to boost retail performance.
- Oversee store management duties including cash handling, cashiering, and retail math calculations.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to manual handling, ladder use, and remodeling activities.
- Support customer service initiatives by maintaining a welcoming environment and addressing shopper inquiries professionally.
- Assist with visual design projects that involve remodeling or interior design enhancements.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels using organizational skills and administrative experience.
- Contribute to branding efforts through visual merchandising and promotional displays.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in retail or merchandising environments.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for visual design purposes.
- Knowledge of marketing principles, branding strategies, and store management practices.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases.
- Familiarity with schematics, planograms, interior design concepts, remodeling processes, and visual display techniques.
- Experience in retail sales, inventory management, stock replenishment, and POS systems.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively.
- Excellent communication skills combined with organizational capabilities.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate ladders as needed during merchandising tasks.
- Knowledge of retail math for pricing adjustments and sales analysis.
- Experience with manual handling procedures, cleaning routines, cash handling, and administrative tasks related to retail operations.
- Time management skills necessary for multitasking across various responsibilities efficiently.
