About Valor Christian School
Valor Christian School is seeking a passionate and Christ-centered Assistant Girls Varsity Volleyball Coach to help build a competitive program that develops student-athletes both on and off the court. We believe athletics are an extension of the classroom, providing opportunities to teach leadership, teamwork, discipline, and Christ-like character.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Coach in planning and conducting practices and competitions.
- Teach volleyball fundamentals, game strategy, and skill development.
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and competitive team culture.
- Mentor student-athletes in character, sportsmanship, and leadership.
- Help supervise athletes during practices, games, and team travel.
- Support communication with players, parents, and school administration.
- Comply with all school policies and OSAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Passion for mentoring high school student-athletes.
- Volleyball coaching or playing experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Head Coach and athletic department.
- Commitment to the mission and values of Valor Christian School.
- Must successfully complete required background checks and any state coaching certifications.

Compensation
Seasonal stipend based on experience and school coaching stipend schedule.
