Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process payments efficiently with POS systems including Cash handling procedures
- Assist with food preparation, serving, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met by following proper food handling protocols
- Manage reservations and guest relations using platforms like OpenTable to optimize seating flow and guest experience
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Previous restaurant or food service settings
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and transactions efficiently
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance sales and guest satisfaction
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes
