AFCO Millwork Products, is looking for an energetic, creative, proven professional to join our production team as a Maintenance Technician for our building products line headquartered in Olive Branch, MS.
Requirements:
- Confers with department manager to resolve maintenances tasks on machines.
- Grow/Learn knowledge to help identify and assist with continuous improvements.
- Performs routine maintenance tasks on machines as required.
- Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools/equipment, conveyor systems, minor electrical components, and production machines.
- Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical device in operation, listening, and using precision measuring equipment to check tolerances.
- Conserve maintenance resources by using/reusing equipment and supplies as needed.
- Develops, maintains, and controls procedures related to his/her areas of responsibility.
- Ensures that equipment and facilities are maintained and kept in top operating condition.
- Works within the guidelines of the quality program, including drawings and procedures.
- Insures good housekeeping in work area.
- Maintains a positive work atmosphere.
- Reports problems or accidents to management immediately.
- Always gives consideration to safety on each job and abides by all company safety rules, policies, and procedures.
- Performs related work as required.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Able to read, write, add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Able to read and use micrometers, calipers, scales, and other measuring devices.
- PLC Knowledge a plus
- Experience:
- One years maintenance experience
