American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU (PICU) position at a major academic medical center in Cleveland, requiring at least 18 months of pediatric experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

PICU setting within a large academic hospital campus
-
Specialized care for pediatric patients ranging from infants through young adults up to age 25
-
Experience with epilepsy monitoring and inotrope management required

EKG/ECG rhythm recognition skills required
-
Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)

Every other holiday coverage required

Active OH RN license or compact state license currently in hand

Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

NIHSS certification preferred

Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty required

Minimum 18 months of recent pediatric experience required (travel experience accepted)

Proficiency in EKG/ECG rhythm recognition and inotrope management required

A valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation, and acceptable scores on both are required to continue the assignment

Two professional references are required for consideration

Travelers may not work at any Cleveland Clinic location for more than 18 consecutive months, and must wait a minimum of 6 months before returning to any Cleveland Clinic location after an assignment ends
