Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Master Electrician to lead and execute complex electrical projects across various commercial and industrial settings. As a Licensed Master Electrician, you will be instrumental in designing, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical systems that power critical infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Lead the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial and commercial electrical systems, ensuring adherence to electrical codes such as NEC (National Electrical Code) and NFPA 70 standards.
- Read, interpret, and review electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate implementation of electrical systems.
- Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot complex electrical problems efficiently.
- Manage teams of electricians on construction sites or renovation projects, providing guidance on electrical work procedures and safety protocols.
- Install low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other automation components critical to industrial operations.
- Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety procedures, and NFPA 70 regulations related to electrical safety procedures.
- Interpret section blueprints for electrical drafting to facilitate precise installation and modifications of electrical infrastructure.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to verify compliance with electrical schematics, blueprints, and building codes before project handover.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters effectively while maintaining a safe work environment.
- Review blueprints for electrical drafting during project planning phases to optimize system design and installation processes.
Experience
- Proven experience working as an electrician in industrial settings with a strong background in industrial electrical systems and construction site environments.
- Extensive commercial electrician experience with a focus on building code compliance and high voltage installations.
- Demonstrated ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics accurately for installation or troubleshooting purposes.
- Hands-on experience managing teams of electricians on large-scale projects or renovation sites.
- Familiarity with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standard for National Electrical Code) regulations is essential.
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Knowledge of low voltage wiring systems, electrical blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation for precise project execution.
