Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our Hilton Garden Inn restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food handling, preparation, and safety, with a keen eye for detail and creativity in menu planning. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals that meet our standards of excellence while ensuring a safe and efficient kitchen environment.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu plans.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety guidelines and regulations.
- Assist in menu planning, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.
- Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to guests.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to continuously improve skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety practices.
- Familiarity with menu planning and catering services is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
