Role Overview
We’re seeking a compassionate, structured, and emotionally intelligent individual to support up to five children (ages vary) during evening hours. This role blends childcare with intentional modeling of parenting skills, emotional regulation, and household structure. You’ll collaborate with parents when present and provide consistent care when they’re not.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, engaging care for up to five children in a recovery-informed setting
- Model positive parenting behaviors, routines, and emotional regulation
- Support bedtime routines, mealtime structure, and age-appropriate activities
- Collaborate with staff and parents to reinforce household expectations
- Maintain documentation of key observations and incidents
- Participate in reflective supervision and team learning
Ideal Candidate
- Experience in trauma-informed care, early childhood education, or family systems
- Skilled in de-escalation, emotional coaching, and boundary-setting
- Values-aligned with harm reduction, recovery, and inclusive leadership
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
- Creative, playful, and grounded in structure
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,257.60 - $48,000.00 per year
