We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender/Server to join our vibrant hospitality team! Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, take accurate orders, and provide personalized recommendations based on their preferences
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, craft beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling
- Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing offerings to keep the menu fresh and exciting
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales while providing excellent customer service
- Assist with food service when needed, including serving dishes at the bar or in dining areas during busy periods
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender or server in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably with fine dining or catering experience
- Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order entry and cash handling
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management skills
- Knowledge of beverage recipe development, wine varieties, craft beer types, and cocktail mixing techniques
- Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic math for cash transactions and retail math calculations
- Experience in bar management or banquet service is a plus but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
