Shushanyan Law Firm in Sherman Oaks, is seeking to hire a litigation Paralegal for their Personal Injury Litigation Department. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in Personal Injury Litigation Cases. Must be eager to learn and work in a team environment where growth is dictated by the effort they put in.
The paralegal will aid in preparing lawsuits, conduct discovery, draft meet and confers, draft motions, conduct legal research, and prepare trial binders and materials. Must have knowledge of principles of spelling and grammar, and have the ability to meet deadlines under time constraints.
Job Duties:
- Preparation of summons and complaints, statement of damages, applications for publication, guardian ad litem forms, etc.
- Drafting and handling correspondence and emails
- Drafting complaints
- Drafting and responding to discovery
- Filing lawsuits
- Serving Lawsuits
- Conducting legal research
- Drafting motions and memorandums
- Performs other related duties as assigned
