Responsibilities:
· Program, set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC milling machines (3-, 4-, and/or 5-axis, as applicable).
· Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions.
· Load programs, verify offsets, select tooling, and perform machine setup for production and prototype work.
· Produce precision parts that meet dimensional and cosmetic quality requirements.
· Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, and CMMs (as applicable).
· Monitor tool wear and replace tooling to maintain quality and efficiency.
· Optimize feeds, speeds, tool paths, and machining processes to improve cycle times and reduce scrap.
· Perform first-article inspections and document results.
· Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues with minimal downtime.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S and safety standards.
· Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues promptly.
· Continuously identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and cost.
Minimum Qualifications:
· 3+ years of CNC milling experience in a manufacturing environment (or equivalent demonstrated expertise).
· Strong experience with CNC programming, setup and operation.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings.
· Proficiency using precision measuring instruments.
· Strong understanding of tooling, workholding, materials, and machining principles.
· Ability to independently troubleshoot machining and quality issues.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
