Pay: $25.00–$30.00 per hour (based on experience, skill level, and qualifications)

We're looking for a dependable, skilled Maintenance Technician who has strong painting experience along with experience in one or more additional construction trades. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and taking pride in quality craftsmanship.
Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician / Skilled Trades Worker will perform a variety of commercial maintenance, repair, renovation, and painting tasks on commercial, multifamily, hospitality, and retail properties. This role requires someone who is versatile, safety-conscious, and comfortable working across multiple trades.
Responsibilities
- Perform commercial painting, including surface preparation, patching, caulking, priming, spraying, rolling, and finish work.
- Complete general building maintenance and repair tasks.
- Perform basic carpentry, drywall repair, framing, trim installation, and finish work.
- Assist with basic electrical and plumbing repairs as experience allows.
- Install, repair, or replace doors, hardware, fixtures, baseboards, and other building components.
- Complete punch-list items and tenant improvement work.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, boom lifts, and scissor lifts.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
- Follow OSHA and company safety standards at all times.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, and team members.
- Complete work efficiently while maintaining Rossi Development's quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Professional painting experience is required.
- Experience in one or more additional skilled trades, including:
- Carpentry
- Drywall
- Electrical
- Plumbing
- Flooring
- General building maintenance
- Construction repairs
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel to job sites throughout Southern California.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
- Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, boom lifts, and other elevated work platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience on commercial, hospitality, retail, or multifamily projects.
- Experience operating airless paint sprayers.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Experience reading construction drawings or punch lists.
- Forklift, boom lift, or scissor lift certification is a plus.
Travel
- Approximately 25% travel.
- Overnight travel may occasionally be required based on project needs.
- Paid per diem is provided for qualifying overnight travel.
