Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Concrete Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee large-scale concrete construction projects from inception to completion. This dynamic role requires a proactive leader with a strong background in managing concrete and heavy civil projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. Duties
- Lead and supervise all on-site concrete construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Coordinate construction schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to ensure timely project delivery.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to guide field operations effectively.
- Manage subcontractors, labor crews, and suppliers to optimize productivity and maintain high safety standards per OSHA and federal construction safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections for quality control, safety adherence, and progress tracking; utilize tools such as the ohmmeter for electrical testing when necessary.
- Oversee construction scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to meet project milestones within scope.
- Facilitate communication between project stakeholders by managing construction drawing review sessions and coordinating schedule updates.
- Enforce safety protocols related to pipeline work, heavy civil construction, and federal safety regulations; conduct safety meetings regularly.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing heavy civil or large-scale concrete construction projects with a focus on supervision and management roles.
- Strong knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, and other relevant tools.
- Extensive site experience with the ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction schedules confidently.
- Demonstrated supervisory skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards, federal construction safety regulations, and pipeline or infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
- Ability to coordinate complex construction schedules while managing budgets effectively; experience with project scheduling is essential.
- Skilled in quality control procedures including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and use of testing equipment like ohmmeters.
- Excellent communication skills for managing subcontractors, clients, vendors, and internal teams efficiently.

Pay: $66,253.34 - $110,000.00 per year
