About Nectar
Nectar is a marketing agency that provides advertising, marketplace management, creative services, and analytics solutions for established consumer brands. Nectar primarily works with brands to scale their sales on third-party marketplaces like Amazon while also supporting growth through paid media, creative production, and strategic consulting.
In addition to our services, Nectar has developed its own proprietary analytics platform, iDerive, which helps brands make smarter business decisions through actionable insights and performance reporting.
As a fully remote digital marketing agency, Nectar values culture, collaboration, transparency, and work-life balance. We pride ourselves on creating an environment where team members have the autonomy to own their work while being supported by a talented and experienced team.
About the Role
The Associate VP of Advertising is the strategic force behind how Nectar does advertising. This role has two jobs that reinforce each other: raising the level of our advertising practice as a whole, and working directly with a set of our most important clients to build sharper advertising strategies and stronger implementation.
You will guide retail media strategy across the marketplaces where our clients sell. Amazon is the center of gravity, given its scale, and includes Sponsored Advertising, Amazon DSP, and AMC. But the role also covers Walmart Connect and other emerging retail media networks as they matter to each brand. You will build the SOPs, playbooks, and standards that raise the floor across every pod so senior thinking scales past the accounts you personally touch. And you will stay close enough to the work to own implementation where it matters and step in when an account needs senior firepower on an escalation.
This is a builder's role for a senior advertising leader who wants to shape how a practice operates and still make specific clients win. You will report to the VP of Advertising and partner closely with account management, creative, and analytics teams.
This is a full-time, fully remote position.
