ABOUT THE ROLE
We're growing our presence in Loudoun County — serving Ashburn, Sterling, Leesburg, and the surrounding Northern Virginia communities — and we're seeking an exceptional Executive Administrator to lead our agency operations. This is a compliance-critical leadership role: under Virginia law (12VAC5-381), the Administrator is the licensed operational authority of the agency, responsible for ensuring every aspect of the organization meets or exceeds VDH standards.
This is not a standard administrative position. You will be the face of Home Matters Caregiving in Loudoun County — building referral relationships, developing a high-performing care team, and ensuring the clients we serve receive the exceptional care they deserve and expect.
SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE REQUIRES
- Leading with purpose and building a culture that attracts and retains top caregivers in a highly competitive Northern Virginia market
- Maintaining full compliance with Virginia home care regulations under 12VAC5-381
- Establishing trusted referral partnerships with Inova Loudoun Hospital, Stone Spring Hospital, and area senior living and healthcare communities
- Driving operational excellence while keeping client and caregiver satisfaction at the center
- Building a strong local presence through networking, community events, and consistent follow-through
- Rolling up your sleeves and problem-solving to ensure no client goes without care
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead all day-to-day operations of the Loudoun County agency in compliance with Virginia VDH licensure requirements (12VAC5-381)
- Conduct orientation, develop, and retain caregivers and staff to maintain high-quality service
- Ensure full compliance with all Virginia state, federal, and local regulations governing in-home care
- Develop and maintain strong referral relationships with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and physicians throughout Loudoun and Fairfax Counties
- Oversee client satisfaction, care plan coordination, and family communication
- Manage staff development, training, and performance
- Represent Home Matters Caregiving at networking events, health fairs, and community engagements throughout Loudoun County
- Collaborate with leadership on growth strategy, staffing, and market development
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1 year of training and/or experience in direct health care service delivery (required by Virginia 12VAC5-381)
- Minimum 1 year (within the last 5 years) of supervisory or administrative experience in home health or a related healthcare field (required by Virginia 12VAC5-381)
- Must be hired as an employee of the organization (required by Virginia law)
- Strong knowledge of Virginia home care regulations and VDH licensure requirements preferred
- Demonstrated ability to build referral relationships in a healthcare or senior care setting
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Valid Virginia driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Bilingual is a plus!
- Bachelor's degree or higher preferred; equivalent experience considered
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Agency office, client homes, skilled nursing and assisted living communities, and healthcare referral partner locations throughout Loudoun County and Northern Virginia.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Salary: $80,000–$105,000 annually, depending on experience
- Bonus: Performance-based bonus eligible
- Health Benefits: To be discussed
- Time Off: Paid time off is eligible
- Mileage: Monthly Gas Allowance Stipend
