```Duties```
- Provide patient care by assessing and monitoring drug therapy, identifying drug interactions, and counseling patients on medication use
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and ensure safe and effective medication use
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, following all legal and ethical guidelines
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles
- Utilize knowledge of pediatric pharmacotherapy to provide specialized care for pediatric patients
- Participate in utilization management activities to promote cost-effective medication use
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Demonstrate proficiency in aseptic technique when preparing sterile products
```Requirements```
- Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Valid pharmacist license in the state of practice
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to understand the effects of medications on the body
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting, preferably in the emergency room or pediatrics department
- Familiarity with utilization management principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members
