Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Operations Manager to lead and optimize daily business functions across our retail locations. Duties
- Oversee daily store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff scheduling to ensure smooth functioning.
- Lead recruitment efforts by conducting interviews, onboarding new employees, and providing ongoing training and development to foster a high-performing team.
- Manage payroll processing, bookkeeping, and cash handling procedures with accuracy and compliance.
- Supervise retail sales teams by setting sales targets, monitoring performance, and motivating staff to achieve goals.
- Implement merchandising strategies, pricing policies, and promotional activities to maximize sales and customer engagement.
- Maintain inventory control through stock ordering, stock rotation, and shrinkage prevention measures.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, store policies, and legal regulations while promoting a positive customer experience through excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
Skills
- Strong leadership abilities with proven experience in supervising retail teams and managing store operations.
- Excellent negotiation skills for vendor relations, purchasing negotiations, and conflict resolution.
- Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Proficiency in retail management systems such as POS (Point of Sale), inventory management software, and scheduling tools.
- Solid understanding of retail math including sales analysis, pricing strategies, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in employee orientation, training & development programs to enhance team performance.
- Knowledge of grocery store operations or wireless sales is a plus; familiarity with cashiering, cashier training, and phone etiquette is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills for effective team leadership and customer interactions.
- Demonstrated ability in operational management tasks such as stock replenishment, merchandising, marketing initiatives, and shift management.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
